Quest Geelong

... so I went to get them replaced first, then went to the police station, and politely inquired whether someone sending said text messages could be charged, and was told 'No.' I was then sent to the court house to get an 'Intervention order', which is supposed to prevent this guy from contacting me, and was asked what the police were doing about it, to which I gave the honest yet frustrated reply of 'Nothing'. The lovely man serving me then ran off for five minutes ...

... felt like 3 hours later I took the photo that I wanted, in a fraction of the time :) Anyway, a few hours, a few beaches and 200km later, I arrived in Geelong. I had planned to stay in Torquay (yes there's one in oz too!) but shorty after arriving there I seemed to have left. This campsite was quite nice, I was chuffed to have my own private shower/toilet room right next to my pitch. After an Aussie pot noodle and a couple of ciders, I went to bed.

... as I didn't have my camera handy, but I would definitely have had them on a life-line if I'd been involved. Three said that "they were used to it". Chief Engineer expressed concern about whether the welder would fit through whatever gap there is to get to the point that needed welding. Still ...

... just pure laziness. Its not just the easy work that I like tho as im working on the parks right in the centre of the city along the Yarra river so its pretty cool with the skyline beside you as you lean on your shovel. Also there is so many nice dogs being taken for walks that I spend most of my time going over and petting them and chatting up their owner, if he's good looking! But on a serious note this city is fitness mad as their are people running and walking all over the ...

... And as I mentioned above, we rented a car this time driving on the left hand side of the roads sitting in the front right seat of the car. And except for the bars everything closes early. It took a little time getting used to, but it's not that bad. I really enjoy the challenges of doing things differently. It's fun learning this new perspective, acclimating to a different culture. But to tell you the truth ...

Flu down to Geelong so michael could meet the family. stayed with my sister in Torquay for a few weeks then Home to Connewarre( about a 10 minute drive from Torquay) did the great ocean road and got the car ready to drive back up to Cairns to get a new unit and start new jobs.
