We got up early and left for Melbourne at 07:30. On route we saw another kangaroo just sitting by the roadside. We decided to stay at a new place this time round, as we felt we had almost become residents of United backpackers. We will also never forget the incredible wildlife we have seen, heard and lived amongst here. The colourful and exotic birdlife and morning ...

... does give the issue of how to pack them but I did leave the box behind! We got the tram back to the apartment to get ready for dinner. Only one place we could go was Chinatown at New Year! We entered the arch and then thought how we would choose where to eat, some had queues some not! We finally decided on one and it was a fab meal. The firecrackers and dancing in the streets made getting back to the apartment a challenge and any cars in the road were ...

Thankfully at that moment a staff member came by - to say the museum had closed and doors and elevators could only be activated with staff pass (probably Internet too!!).
