... was quite good, as was Belinda. Kath wasn't too bad & I was ****. I started off good but my ball stopped ¾ of the way down so it needed another little push. We than went in to the candle making area & me & Nae dipped some candles. I made the prettiest one & Nae will vouch for that. We than just bummed around waiting for the tour, went in to the boiler room which was good & nice & warm too. We were than off to the underground tour it was ...
Ballarat, VIC, Australia hyper351Bumping into an old friend in Ballarat Monday 27 th October Not sure if we would actually get away still with loads we needed to do to Betsy we said our Goodbyes anyway and waved Ed and Zoe off to work. We decided to do our last urgent few bits of shopping and begin on our way to Perth Firstly we were very unimpressed with our budget gas stove that used a whole camping gas canister to cook only 11/2 meals. So we upgraded to a ...
Ballarat, Victoria, Australia therhodesies... across the road to the gold museum, which documented the town at the time of the goldrush and had a large display of gold coins from lots of different countries across time. I stubbornly walked back to town in the rain, dreaming of the fresh hot pizza i was going to scoff when i got back.. and low and behold the rain stopped about 10 mins after i got into town!! Typical!!
Ballarat, Australia jsto... small, and haunted by well something. (could it be a demon or just allot of thought.) I felt more free minded after his words settled in my body. For he talked about false beliefs that block me from happiness and what happiness truly is. (By the way I must thank Ella Wachella from T.O. for she sent be the book and it arrived a day before my departure to Australia.) One of the quotes I found very useful is " The Reason why you are unhappy is because you are ...
Mailing Rd., Australia carolinesheart... pig" out ...(me BEING the year of the pig.) Sat down at at a decedent chocolate Cafe called Cocoa ... and ate tons of chocolate so delicate it all melted so smoothly down my throat. Ahh the best I mean the best chocolate ever... they had this deal because of the wine and food festival for only 19.95 you get a Mug of Dark Hot Coco, a cake of any choice; I went for the bishop (chocolate moose with honey comb), 3 decadent bonbons of ur choice; i had earlgrey and ...
That night Olaf and I went to the moonlight cinema at the Botanical gardens. The Botanical gardens are gorgeous ...

Warrandyte, Australia wanderingwoosie... here they have a 3mth probation period , where either party (employee or employer ) may leave /ask to leave for no reason.......grrr.While you all eat your big Christmas dinners ...think of me (kinda like a world vision advert...the little/big girl waits.....) I will survive the next months on toast alone if it means I can stay here instead of going home. Anyway we had a rain storm 2night , the 3rd time in 5weeks we have seen rain...I didn't know it still existed. Okay so the ...
Melbourne, Australia lillirenee... see the Statue of Liberty, seeing a 'roo is one of those moments when you realize that you are indeed in Australia. Kangaroos are truly nice creatures, and very friendly to humans. Their fur is soft, their temperament is charming and not pushy or aggressive, and they are generally lovely animals. We saw a young one, and even a baby Joey in a pouch! There has been discussion of adoption. Check the pictures attached for more info!
Ballarat, Australia aussiewilkinsAlas i still haven't set off yet, all but the last minute essentials like toiletries and food have now been organized. The training i have been doing has me feeling pretty confident, i feel i will still have to keep my first week or so to under 50km a day. mostly due to the harsh terrain. I only wish i had been organized sooner as the weather is really starting to heat up. Departure date is still up in air but with any luck i will be out of here within the next two weeks.
