... leaf monkeys are a vivid orange. Very cute. There were some macaque monkeys as well, but these were a bit scary, baring their teeth. They can be bitey- bitey too, not to mention that they are mischievous little thieves. It was time to have our meal (which was included in the trip) at a Chinese restaurant on the water. It was ok, but nothing compared to where we'd been the night before. It was then time for our boat ride to see the fireflies. It was a pretty sight ...

Entered Ballarat via Memorial Road, a lovely tribute to those who have been sacrificed in all wars. A very long avenue of trees, each with a plaque to a fallen soldier. ... again.....So we headed off to Ballarat, about 105k away. The roads were long and straight and no sign of any fire damage. We settled in to the Ballarat Lodge Motel on The Main Road and booked in for a two night stay. It was about 5ish at this time and we wanted to go to a show at Sovereign Hill tonight at 9 pm and then spend the day around the old Town and Gold mine all day tomorrow. It's supposed to be a day full of gold rush fun and adventure......Well let's wait and see about ...
