... we go. And then we see it. The road is flooded and everything is headed for the high ground in the middle. Cars, taxis buses and wagons our man takes on all comers and we forge forward right in the middle of the road. ... as the train twisted and turned along the rickety track and the views became more and more spectacular.
Suddenly a large hoot as we approached the trackside villages, little children waving, old folks smiling as they went about their daily tasks.
All manor of items were along the trackside drying in the sun, spices, vegetables and even washing. We could have been on a movie set !

... too, for a change. Cost, of course was very low as food in Indonesia is very cheap.

With our lunch done, we head back to the car to our next destination outside of Semarang heading Eastwards towards the border of Central Java and East Java for a visit to a great historical temple....the journey should be about two hours and twenty minutes.
