Yesterday, Charlie and I went up to Hosmer Lake with the boat. Got there early and onto the lake. It is lake with a lot of reeds and water leaves, much more than when we were here 2 years ago. Our hotel room this time is a suite complete with a kitchen, so we will be fixing our lunches and dinners in our rooms. Our breakfast is included with our room, so our meals should be very nutritious for the rest of our stay in Bend!

Tomorrow will be a day of rest. The next few days of our stay in Bend will be occupied with the Motor Maid convention.

... south on Cline Falls Highway we come across some impressively beautiful ranches. What a view the ranchers have of the great volcanic peaks and the Cascade Range in general. And what a backdrop for some photo opportunities! We stop and watch some young horses romp. Their grace and beauty are mesmerizing. We watch them for quite some time before continuing on.
