Yesterday, Charlie and I went up to Hosmer Lake with the boat. Got there early and onto the lake. It is lake with a lot of reeds and water leaves, much more than when we were here 2 years ago. After leaving Crater Lake, we headed to Bend Oregon to spent the weekend with some friends from Portland to camp in the Deschutes National Forest. It was so nice getting to cook out and hang around the camp fire with them. Their one year old daughter, Ruby, provided much entertainment with her charming personality and inquisitive ways...and I must say, she was quite the little camper with the way she slept through the nights without hesitation!
