... deck of the calicks with the with a squeals of pure pleasure. Lunch today had a wired green leaf, instead of lettuce. In french this plant is called: P O U R P I E R ( Portulaca: pourpier; → purslane; pigweed) It is very crispy, crunchy and reminds me of a lemon flavored scallion. ... around the old town and has a small existence with tourism. Geraldine thought the ruins too new to be of interest. We went in the morning again to avoid the hottest part of the day. (Weather 35-40 deg C clear skies and very humid).

Ekincik was a delightful little anchorage off a small pebble beach with a natural spring just inland. We stopped here heading westwards & thought we'd visit again on the return leg.
