Falkenstrasse 2 Baden-Baden, Black Forest, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, 76530, 7221-2190
... up. I had a computer in front of me while we were chatting so I looked up train schedules from to Strasbourg for him and for me, and we agreed to meet in the station around the time his train arrives.

On the train from Basel, I learned the hard way that dogs do not travel for free on TV trains. I was charged a large fine on top of the fare for a small dog. His one-way fare was more than half my round trip fare! Luckily I had found a good seat sale for ...
Strasbourg, Alsace, France travelingdivaHe Said:

Well, since I was the one who wasn't too sure about spending the night in Strasbourg, I’m pretty much the ******* here. I had a few reasons: 1) The ride from Reims to Munich was set to be a long one, so I thought it might be a good idea to get even closer than Strasbourg, 2) I was really curious to check out a new city in Germany such as Ulm, and 3) I was under the impression that Strasbourg was predominately an industrial-type ...
Strasbourg, Alsace, France leandroopThis place was incredible! There was just too much that I loved to talk about, but one thing that was really cool was a hotel that they have called "The Little Prince"...after the book and movie The Little Prince. My parents and I LOVED this book when I was little and we used to read it and watch the movie quite a bit. It's a pretty strange story but really neat. One the side of ...
Baden-Baden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany katerilalaineLast leg of the European jaunt and we've decided to try out the Black Forest...the bad weather was the final nail in the coffin and after 3 days of dripping foggy weather, we decided to jack in the caravan and head to Octoberfest, but more of that later.

So a quick trip to a 500 yr old stud farm started by King Wilhelm the 1st, where they breed beautiful Black Forest horses and Arabs then, Baden Baden to take in the sights of this thermal spa town and ...
Baden-Baden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany sarahandstutour... there you think you're next in line for a physical. Anyway, the attendant directs you to these oversized shower heads that send a cascade of warm water down on you. Your told to lather up and bath before continuing. Soon other naked, unsure of where they're going, bathers enter and make their way to a shower. I would say after a few minutes of this, Mila and I got over it. We're definitely heading back once more before we leave. Can't wait to post the pics.
Baden-Baden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany laters... France and walked a winding path to the Cathedral. Unfortunately it was closed for some reason so we only got to admire the exterior. We stopped for lunch at a delicious Alsatian restaurant, Au Dauphin. Here we experience the delicious local specialty, tarte flambée. It is similar in appearance to a pizza. The crust is lighter and thinner, and there is no tomato sauce or cheese, but instead a delicious cream. For toppings, the ...
Strasbourg, Alsace, France travelingdivaWe caught the wrong train and wound up in Gengenbach. While we were waiting for a train back we met a lady who told us the town had a beautiful old-town section. So we went discovering again. After a good look around we stopped at a pub while we were waiting for the next train and got talking to the owner. Turns out he'd been to Australia on holiday, so we had a good time talking to him until it was time to go.
Gengenbach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany danandroz... pitch black near the top, and almost like a forest. It was disorienting walking back, because of the darkness, shadows, and brief glimmers of car headlights. I jumped once, thinking that a dark figure suddenly appeared in front of me, but there was nothing. Then I had the feeling that I was being followed. Later that night as I tried to sleep in the room, I felt as if there was another presence in the room, in addition to the other two people staying ...
Baden-Baden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany pwong... sleepers would hate this place because it is right next to a very loud church...bells right up until around 11pm and start in the morning. Bought a ticket for the Roman baths from the front desk (discount with your hotel room) and went out in search of lunch. Hey, isn't there rule you have to bath on a full stomach but swim on an empty one!? I found this great little place the Löwenbrau, I think you all may have heard of ...
