... though, and even though it was raining we decided to brave the cold and go outside. It was definitely the right decision because the Baths outside were bigger, cleaner and a lot better.

Fish Feet
... there was barely any english information so we missed alot of it. In the basement we saw the isolation cells they would have used for political prisoners and they were beyond creepy. We made our way back to the hotel and took it easy after dinner. The dreaded Contiki cold/cough finally came for me today:(. On a final note the Mcdonalds here has chicken wings, a Mcfarm burger and Magnum chocolate flurries ...
Post Murray depression... We keep the faith.
... cathedrals and the Gellert freedom monument. We're looking forward to a (hot) fun few days and especially to the cheaper food as the exchange rate is so good! (Forints to Euros) The time seems to be slipping away so we're determined to make the most of it. Budapest

Dobos Cake (layered sponge cake, with chocolate buttercream filling and topped with a thin caramel slice). Oh, they have this bad looking snack- fried bread, flat and the size of an entree size plate smothered with yogurt, grated cheese and other fillings if you like. The heat melts the cheese, I couldn't bring myself to try this but a number of Hungarians have recommended it.

Church Ruins and Fairytale Castles...
... at the clock, I saw that it was time to return to the hostel. When I got there I realized that there was no internet. I went searching for a hot-spot because I was trying to answer a message from Istvan. Finally my message went through...4 times. Oh well, by that time Istvan had cancelled anyhow, so I made myself lunch and decided to go explore the other side of the river, beside the Castle.
