Over the weekend I traveled with my Aunt to visit her boyfriend, Carlos, in Pfalz, Germany. It is a beautiful, ancient looking part of Germany with historical architecture, rolling fields and is right on the French boarder. The afternoon was spent very happily being bussed into Alsace for a wine tasting visit to one of the local cellars. The scenery was lovely, and those colours still amaze. The wine tasting was interesting as the region considers it is a cool climate area so comparisons were in order! We enjoyed every wine we tasted - thank goodness it was too far to post back!
