... about 4pm ish. Beautiful setting for today's camp. Back to nature after last few campsites. Temp now cool 20s from high 20s/30s made for pleasant evening. We purchased some wood for the BBQ and fire and half the group set off for short hike. Myself and rest of group A plus Michelle tried to get fire going. Very Interesting task, wet wood plus short burning paper made it hard task. So as you do I tried burning my ...

J.” and his significant other “Michelle” at the Mexican restaurant, and after dinner we all went back to the house, for an evening of laughs.

          Travel Day

Leaving Vicksburg we headed west on I-20 across Louisiana
to Shreveport, and from there we headed north on US 71 into Arkansas and our
destination of Mena Arkansas. We arrived
at our good friends, Sue and Al, home late in the afternoon. After an enjoyable dinner at a local restaurant
we spent the evening catching up on what has happened since we last saw them.

Instead of putting a lot of work into the fishing dock, he’s decided to fish out of a barrel instead so he and Oscar bought a blue barrel that we’ll need to clean out and paint the outside of to make it look like a wooden barrel. Even though the barrel won’t break down obviously, it’s much smaller and all of his smaller props can just fit inside of it.
