The next morning was our big treat at Bodrum. We had rented a gulet for the day. A gulet is a two (usually) or three master sailboat, typically for Turkey but also in most of the eastern Mediterranean. We were greeted by our captain and his cook and crew, a delightful young woman from Russia. This was a WONDERFUL experience.
Today we rejoined the Cenneti Kaptan for another day on the water. The four stops were the same as before Camel Beach, Bagla Bay, Aspat Bay and Aquarium Bay. You can readily see that is would be a great defensive building with visibility to see who is coming. Lunch in our newest find for great pide - this time with complementary apple tea. Then it was back to the pool for some more reading and ...
... By the time I returned mum was recovered so we did some more shopping - and picked up some exquisite silk cushion covers. The shop owner saw us coming - and we were treated to apple tea - and complementary "kuneffe" after our pide. Kuneffe is a sweet cheese filled dessert with honey and coconut - not over sweet and very nice! Following all of this we were well ready for the pool and some ...
