Migraine day. Slept in the cabin until there was only enough time left to go out to Kos, hurry to the beach ans have a dip, go back again. There was dance music and bars at the beach. On the way there we passed hundreds of shops. It was boring. I don't mind not having had more time on Kos. Except for the fact you can rent a bike there. That might have taken us far ...

Setting off into 22 knots of wind. Oh dear. Some anxiety as the upwind journey is at least 12 miles. However!! Within 20 mins of leaving the harbour we were in 7-11 knot winds and making good progress with the auto helm on travelling due west. We flirted with the sails, in, out, in, out eventually just the main and engine. Rounding the Knidos headland we were now down wind so ...

... done enough already). Before this we are off to Old Datça which is a pretty village about 15 minutes away. I expect we will get sold a carpet or two!! Tomorrow we are off round the Datça peninsular past Knidos with a final resting place of Palamut. A long sail of some 24 nautical miles. Depending on the wind it will either be another bumpy head into wind or a nice sail. Only time will tell. We are hoping to see dolphins ...
