Very small town (village) but quite gorgeous, we walked around a bit, wanting arvo tea, saw a cafe that said 'closed' but when we asked she invited us in, sat us down and gave of coffee, tea, choc cake and apple pie. Vermont is simply beautiful with its blend of bucolic farmland, mountains and picturesque small villages. We chose to stay in Fairlee as I liked the look of the cosy little cabin that was situated around Lake Morey. What an amazing little haven of beauty it was. So we've actually been home a few weeks. How time flies!  Much faster when you're back into the old daily grind.  But let's go back in time to June 20th for a minute.
