Phu Quoc Island

A travel blog entry by kearawallis

Phu Quoc is beautiful. When we arrived yesterday it was raining (typical) so we took the free bikes offered by the resort and explored a bit. We biked through the town and stopped for a quick bite along the way. Note to self – only eat at restaurants where there are other people dining. Very important lesson. It was raining in the bathroom. I actually had to put my hood back on. Lauren, Sophia, and Morgan ordered chicken sandwiches. Lauren found a ...

Goodbyes

All of a sudden I am brimming with enthusiasm and energy. The afternoons do get a little dull since we are so ...

Week 2

A travel blog entry by kearawallis

I realize I haven't been posting as often as I did last week. I suppose it’s a testament to the monotony of teaching the same class 8 times over the course of 2 days.

Last night we drove back to Can Tho to visit the supermarket. This weekend we are going to the beach and we need supplies! We arrived around 7:00 at night and the store was crawling with people. To my fellow Americans: think the Mall a couple of days ...
