      Walked into Lubeck and took photos of the twin-spired churches and picturesque houses. Found a shop and bought fruit, etc for breakfast, which had in our hotel room.       We stayed here only one night---the credit machine did not work so we had to pay for the room in cash. The room was dirty and the twin beds inside were old with sheets on them that weren't the cleanest. Overall, however, the staff was nice and served a good breakfast in the morning.

      ... convinced that they don’t touch themselves behind closed doors. These Americans are best avoided.

      I eventually get away, lock my door as I am not entirely trusting of them and thank the fact that I have a compartment to myself. They get off tomorrow morning and I will do my best to steer clear.

      I am now uploading this in St Petersburg and need to catch up on the last couple of days... will hopefully do this later, but again internet access is a bit funny!
