We arrived in Como at 8:00pm Friday night. That night a couple of my friends and I walked around the tiny little city located right on Lake Como to get a sense of the town. I got lucky and was put in the quad room and we had a rooftop terrace that was larger than our actual room to sleep in. Saturday morning, we went to Giuseppe Terragni's Casa del …

Roger said he needed a wine after the stress of the castle backing incident so we sat at a ferry side bar and he had two white wines just to make sure he was ok. Once at Bellargio, the boys went back to the wine store and purchased some supplies while Wendy and I has a cool drink and waited. Home again to a shared dinner of cheeses, meats etc and a reasonably early night as Roger has another ride in the morning with ...

    Bologna - Milan - Como

Time to leave Bologna so packed up the car & headed off to Milan. Not much for brekkie today just coffee, croissant & prosciutto. They had what was labelled as scrambled eggs but the orange mass before me did not resemble anything I believed possible to create with eggs. So thought it may well not be the culinary highlight of the trip & decided to pass on that option.

On the way between Bologna & Milan I had noticed a wee place ...
