Stepping outside the terminal building the humidity and heat hits us for the first time (34C / 75%) . At least we have a few days to get used to it. A bus is loading up in the bus station so we are on, sat down and moving within a few minutes. The journey takes us north across most of Lantau Island - I can remember, just, how it was before the airport was built - and then down into Kowloon.
