... out in the bay. The journey was in three bits with junctions where the cable turned a corner. It is a 25 minute ride and ends in Po Lin, a small settlement aimed at satisfying the needs of those who have used the cable car. Also in Po Lin is a monastery and a giant Buddha. The weather when we arrived had definitely taken a turn for the worse. There was low cloud and after a while an enormous rain shower. However, eventually the sun ...

... to the Peak Viewpoint. We got the fairy across the harbour and then the tram up to the viewpoint. The queues were a bit long due to Chinese New year but the view was worth it. Although, I think I prefer the city lights of the skyline as they are just so colourful. The bird market was a bit depressing seeing how many birds are put in one ...

So we set of on foot and hiked.....and hiked and hiked yet more. It was a really good little trek up as it was ...

... Mariam and Zoriana have taken some pictures so I'll try and get a copy of them. Only went in the sun for about half an hour but I swear I've managed to tan a little as a consequence which I'm pretty pleased about. Not as good as Mariam though who's dad is from Tunisia so she's tanned just from looking at the sun. I dislike her greatly.

... way along a random corridor when he said we were there? He got a card out of his pocket which he swiped against I think a picture on the wall, as he did so a part of the wall opened leading into a secret corridor! Was like something from Batman. We headed through another door or two and arrived in The Hong Kong Club Restaurant which had great views of the city. We all enjoyed a buffet of the most ridiculous food and listened to ...
