    ... world!

    Day 1
Ben and I were the last ones up which was nice, no awkward bumping into people or butts in faces because you have to grab something from your bag. After we got ready, we headed out... Or we thought we would head out. Turns out those cute Korean girls locked the deadbolt: we got locked in. No phones to call the hostel, we tried everything possible: banging on our door yelling for help, attempted to take apart ...

If I said that every other person in the street is listening/watching/carrying a phone (all taxi drivers had 2-3 in their cabs) I would be underestimating it. The vast majority of people walk around on the street staring/texting/surfing/tweeting or have a phone glued to their ears. They wander along aimlessly ahead of you getting in the way all the time. We even asked a shop assistant for some info ...

Oh and they didn't tell us that most of the shops don't open until 11am. So we headed back to the ship for some R&R before our evening tour. Our evening ...

... went to go tour Noah’s Ark, which is a sort of amusement
park in Hong Kong. The first thing we toured was the ark, where there was the
story of Adam and Eve along with a lot of other biblical references. Judging by
the name and this initial introduction, we all were under the impression that
Noah’s Ark had a religious affiliation, however as we continued on the tour,
the message transformed into taking care of your health, protecting ...

... was exactly like being in our local store, but what the heck, we needed to check :0)

Now this next bit of news might cheer you up, getting off the tube back in downtown Kowloon it was raining! Fortunately we had anticipated such an event and bought umbrellas hurrah :). Unfortunately they were tucked up back in the hotel nice and dry - boo! However as fortune would have it the tube station is right outside our favourite Vietnamese ...
