          ... s made the gymnastic exit difficult.

          We thought we needed treatment for PTSD, so we went back to where Mum was waiting, drank restorative coffee and soaked up the sun. Mel, Mum and me all ended up with sun-burn, proving that we have the most sensitive skin in the universe. Honestly, who gets burnt in Scandinavia? Mel even ended up with a white hand print on his chest, showing where he had applied sun-cream and when he had not.

          We had had a late night, and so we didn't get moving very quickly. It was damp and a bit rainy, so we were discouraged from getting going. The kids climbed up on the rocks behind the hut and explored. They found an outcrop that looked like a rock troll. I stayed behind and fused the lights instead. It took me the best part of two weeks to realise that 'Ikke rør' meant 'Don't Touch'.

          ... chuff, chuff, chuff noises as it gasps air for each intake stroke for the single cylinder FN engine of about 1litre, and with the other ear you can hear the distinctive putt, putt, putt, putt, putt, putt, putt....           ... day didn't have a great start when a bee flew into her face while cycling, stinging her on her lip! This left her with a painful fat lip for a couple of hours, poor pet!

          As lunchtime rolled around we started keeping our eye out for picnic tables by the sea. Not finding anything, we pulled into a church yard, hoping to enjoy our lunch in the shade of a tree.
