    ... got away....."
    Well, they came from far and wide, and the place was crawling with Treas's friends and family... siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, children, grand-children, and they kept coming...
    I think we ended up with about 40 or so and we had a terrific day.

    ... occasions have presented themselves on our trip-unplanned, unexpected, yet such warm and memorable experiences.

    As we still hadn't had a proper lunch, after leaving the church, we had a late lunch down by the sea in a very idyllic spot, once we'd finally found a picnic table!!

    ... walk a little around the base camp, as we wouldn't have been able to see anything from the top of the mountain. However, it turned out they were doing a guided tour inside the glacier at the base camp, so we went for a 2 hour walk (not that far with me being the nana-ishly slow person with the others resembling mountain goats/ rock rabbits "skipping" over the rocks) until it was time for the tour.
