... farm. It is a Xmas tree farm and they use the cabin to give out hot chocolate to the people who come to buy the trees at Christmas. We had a turkey dinner which was delicious and the girls went for a drive in the truck to see the Christmas trees. They spent most of the night in the barn with Emma and Sarah petting the horses, dogs and cats. We went back to Anamieke and Jan’s house. The girls were put to bed in their room which ...

... 8 dollars but we could use the walk.
Canada milks the tourists for all it can get. We bought hot dogs from a street vendor2 for 11 dollars when I had seen them advertised on the walk to the cliff for 2 dollars each.
On top of the cliff there are a few shops a bar street vendors with crowds to fill them up. One thing we have noticed that in all these outside areas there are no public toilets you have to go into a commercial building to access these ...

Well the day has finally come...Dustin is flying the Coop...Do you think he could have chosen a closer place just to visit his Mum???? :-(
We flew WestJet from London to Vancouver. See attached pictures for a view of the Rockies from the plane.
... we drove through south London. More condominium housing and strip malls - all the big box stores you can think of. With all the development taking place I wondered how long the city could hold on to its title as The Forest City.
We shared a time of great food, and conversation, talking until after 10:00 p.m., when we decided it was best to check into our hotel to get some sleep, since we had such a long journey waiting for us the following day.
... eyes were smiling.
About a mile out from where we were going to camp, a man stopped us in the street. He flagged us down on a 90 kph highway. He was wearing a ron jons surf shop hat and he told us about a trailer park that would take us for the night.
Anyway, it's this huge perminant resident trailor park right on the edge of the lake. We're sleeping on this cliff and I can hear the waves crashing. It's beautiful.
Like I said before.... What a day.
2009 05 07 We barely got settled in our campground when our grand-daughter Tiffany and her mother Denise arrived to spend the night in our motorhome. The next day we all drove to London, Ontario to help Tiffany move from her university of Western Ontario residence to her own house. After re-assembling her furniture, we all went to Jim & Sue Vanderhoeven's for a visit. John & Helen Cantos met us there also. The two couples had just returned from a ...
London, Ontario, Canada jimcabay... so that runs through the town) there was no Big Ben. It seemed from what I learnt at the visitor's information centre that there was a lot going on here, just not now. I have had both good and bad luck with my timing, apparently the tourist season hasn't started yet meaning campgrounds have been fairly empty, but the attractions haven't started yet. This meant that the double-decker tour wasn't running and being a Monday most things ...
London, Ontario, Canada daslinkThere is little that is more frustrating, sobering, and depressing to a person who considers himself intelligent, than to discover his own boundaries. Indeed, it is the trouble for anyone who looks to excel. Perhaps it is the true mark of a champion that he considers, then disregards it.
