After 8 days of driving, leaving the snow and the cold in the east, and the rain in the south, 1 ticket, countless fast food meals and gallons of gas, we finally made it to sunny California ! It has been warm, sunny and beautiful so far, and filled with lazy days of sleeping in, sun bathing for me and surfing for Ray. If you've ever seen the recent popular american tv show ''The OC'', this place looks exactly like the beach side in many of the scenes. Many popular surf shops nearby like Billabong and Hurley, a long peir streching out over the water with restaurants and stores on the end, expensive parkinglots close to the shore, tonnes of people tanning surfing and playing in the sand, and large sidewalks on the beach to walk, skateboard, jog, bike and inline skate on.
