... It was something I felt I needed to do: Say goodbye to another part of my past so I can live more freely in the present. Much to my surprise “my house” was no longer there. A much larger house sat there in its place. The house I had lived in had obviously been torn down. How fitting. The house was “finished” for me both physically and metaphorically.
