Day 22
... all the 'worlds'. Epcot has built many countries you get to walk through, with restaurants, history, rides and snacks from that country. We went through Mexico, Norway, China, Japan, Germany, France (best pastries), Canada, the UK and heaps more, all of which were gorgeous and very well detailed.
While not as magical as the first park, we had a ton of fun at Epcot (except for the imagination ride - don't do it!!!)

It's our first night....who called security???
... to cause trouble here either. But ended up having a good night at Kaleidoscope. Who called security on us? I guess we'll never find out. But the first night there we already got written up and our names well known. Let's just say by the end of day 4 we were known by all security guards, all of guest service- including the manager, and dinner crew managers. But you know what? That's how I roll. A cruise to remember :)

Hollywood Studios! Part two

I didn’t know which was up and which was down, not to mention the G-force. I’m actually really sensitive to it, but I can get over it pretty quick. This ride did not give me the chance to, so I wasn’t having as much fun as I wanted. Imagine if I had a heart condition. Maybe I do, but ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Quality Suites Royale Parc Suites Kissimmee
DIRTY FILTHY DUMP!
This hotel is disgusting, We checked in and checked out the same night. The walls were filthy, the floors were stained. The tub was black with dirt, I don't know about you but I would not shower in that. The walls had about 50 spiders crawling over the beds. We went to the Residence Inn in Lake Buena Vista much better area and beautiful hotel! So a little advice, when this hotel advertises itself as newly remodeled and that they are voted number one suites, they lie! Stay in Lake Buena Vista!
What's the problem?
We've stayed twice, and never had a problem. Yes, the free breakfast is
essentially cake and cereal. Cake for breakfast? An odd concept which
will forever remain strange to the eyes of English people, but I
suppose it's normal to eat cakes for breakfast in America. However,
it's ideal if you don't eat much for breakfast anyway. and there is
always plenty of juice, tea and coffee, and fruit too. Just over the
road is a Ponderosa; much better (hot!) breakfast for about four
dollars. We stayed in the two bedroom suite - huge! Includes small
kitchenette with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. We were able to
prepare proper meals. The cleaning lady even washed up for us!
Furnishings were reasonably new, and the place was very clean, and our
problem (no plug for the sink) was quickly resolved once the reception
people actually worked out what we meant! Additionally, extra crockery
were speedily provided. However, the safe remained broken for the
entire stay; something we immediately pointed out in front of witnesses
so they couldn't blame us for it. Two televisions with lots of channels
(including English TV programmes - Hooray!). Pool is nice and jacuzzi
tub is a clever touch. One point - as with most things in America, the
hotel is not well signposted; as it's set back from the 192 you need
sharp eyes to see the big pink building that is the hotel. As you
approach from the I4, turn right immediately after the 7/11 petrol
station (infact you can get to it through the petrol station if you
turn too early). If you get to Old Town or Pizza Hut, then you've gone
too far.
Been there...
I was completely satisfied with the staff, the area, the rooms, and
pool/hottub. But you can tell the hotel has been there for a while and
they are starting to put money back into it. I would stay there again.
The breakfast does not offer a lot but it was free. All in all it was
worth the money. Recommend....
Looking for a 4th time
My family and I had 3 previous stay and loved every one of them! Great
location, food, shopping, Disney all nearby. Great staff, outstanding
pool/spa area, free breakfast & happy hour. Wouldn't stay anywhere
else.
Great Stay and Great Rates
My wife and I were looking for an affordable place to stay with our
three children in the Disney area. We came across the Quality Suites
after a recommendation from a friend and are pleased with the
suggestion. The free transportation to Disney, Universal & Sea World
were nice and the free "extended" breakfast was great for all of us.
The wife and I were able to have a couple of drinks and watch the kids
from the pool bar while they swam in the pool. At night we all sat
around the tv, watched a movie, and ate popcorn that we popped right
there in our room microwave. The staff seemed atentive to any questions
we had and when we requested an additional blanket it was there within
minutes. If you have your choice between a "stuffy" regular hotel room
and a spacious suite with all the fixings, I would choose the Quality
Suites due to its overall value...we will be back again!
Pick this one!!
I spent alot of time searching the internet for a place to stay in
Kissimmee/Orlando and almost drove myself crazy in trying to choose a
place that I thought would be all it seemed from the info I had to go
on. From experience, there is nothing worse than arriving somewhere and
finding it to be the total opposite of what was represented. Look no
further folks. Go ahead and reserve your room at Quality Suites
Maingate East. We had a 2-BR suite w/large living rm and 2 baths, all
rooms overlook atrium/pool, the staff is great, the rooms are well
equipped and unlike alot of other places, there were plenty of towels
in the baths. Our suite seemed to be newly renovated and we noticed
that many on our floor were being renovated as well. When we checked
in, we were given keys to three rooms and allowed to pick the one that
we liked the best. I was really impressed with that. Whether traveling
as a family or just a few people, consider this place, it is well worth
it. There are alot of places to eat within walking distance and "Old
Town" is right next door, a very neat place to go for all ages, unique
shops, attractions and rides, live music, antique car shows and food.
It cost nothing to walk around and listen to the music or watch
whatever else is going on there. The only negative thing that I could
possibly say about Quality Suites is that the sofa is uncomfortable but
nothing that a few pillows off the bed for padding won't cure. The sofa
is also queen bed if needed. Great place. We will go back. No doubt
about it!!
Thanks alot...
After booking my reservations at the Quality Suites Maingate East, I stumbled on these reviews... There was a few negative things said about the hotel, and I was very nervous on our 14 hour journey to Florida. But... I found everything to be just fine. We arrived at the hotel at 9am of course check-in isn't till 4pm, but they managed to get us a room right away. Which that was wonderful. There were four adults and for children in our 2 bedroom suite. And by the way where can you find a 2 bedroom suite at their prices, this was the only one I could find, other than a condo, (which does not provide you with clean linen daily) and is rather expensive. We were off to disney pretty early and missed to free breakfast, but we did spend 2 days just hanging around the pool, which was very clean, and took advantage of the managers special of free beer, wine and pop. Yes it was draft beer, but what were you expecting? There was nothing wrong with the free drinks. We actually enjoyed them. Overall, we thought the accomidations were very plesant. We would definitely return to Quailty on our next adventure to Disney World, and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Disney World.
Quality Suites is a "suite" deal
We found this hotel after reading several of the Disney area guidebooks and surfing the internet. First of all it was extremely close to Disney and you could walk to all sorts of stores, restaurants and a entertainment center called Old Town. Our teenagers loved the Old Town with many rides and arcades. We had a two bedroom suite with two bathrooms. It was good size and had a kitchenette included which came in handy. They have a free breakfast bar and a 'happy hour' at the poolside with free beer wine and sodas for the kids to enjoy. It felt like a resort property with a beautiful atrium with lots of palm trees and a expansive pool. Our littlest child had a ball in the kiddie pool and the play ground.
Have a large family? This is the place!
We called the hotel directly and our reservations agent was very friendly. Upon arrival at the hotel we noticed they had a fun New Orleans theme. Our suite was huge with two separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, two TV's plus a kitchenette! The staff was always friendly, especially the bartenders at the free poolside beverage reception each afternoon. We also liked the free continental breakfast; that saved us money. At night after returning from the parks we could walk to many restaurants and there was an amusement complex called Old Town right next door. Our teenagers liked that. The hotel's pool area is really nice and the picture of it on the internet is what convinced us to stay here.
Very comfortable and large suites..
Our family stayed in a two bedroom suite and we felt that we never left home. Everyone was nice to us. The free drinks at the bar in the evening was fantastic. I was expecting a donuts and coffee for breakfast, but it actually was soo much more pancakes, waffles toast lots of stuff. We all really enjoyed our stay. They even let us have a late check out because of our late flight at 3pm and didn't charge us any more. We will definietly be back next year.
