I went out to Colorado Springs for Todd and Emily's wedding. It was a fabulous weekend with family and friends. The wedding was really nice--it fit Todd and Emily so well. The weather was perfect too! I got to see the Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy.

This morning I purchased the tickets for a 2.40pm train journey up Pikes Peak using coupons I saved us $20. We rode to the railway station through the beautiful township of Manitou Springs.We boarded the train and headed for Pikes Peak the second most visited mountain in the world after Japan's Mt. Fuji.
