      Holy smokes the bucket list is severely diminished today! A 5:00am start today. (Not a typo) Off to Boulder to experience my first hot air balloon ride. Started off with coffee and pastries then the balloons were inflated. First the balloon was rolled out and the the basket attached. Chip lent assistance holding the balloon open while it was inflated with cool air. Next the burners were engaged and the balloon became upright. Pauline ...

      ... a hailstorm that even traveling 5 mph feels like a risk (especially when you can't see more than about 15 feet in front of the car, yikes!)

      Time to scout out some fireworks! Unfortunately, it's totally illegal in Colorado, so we have to see if we can walk to where we can view as show being put on at a nearby baseball stadium.
