... with plenty of people out enjoying the weather. The area where i am staying has a middle east culture, where there are a few bazaar's and markets. Makes for an interesting change.
No i did not go and visit some of the biggest wineries in Europe near Bordeaux, i dont have any interest in wine any more. Plus a lot of the Chateau's had retail outlets in the city.
What a great part of France, really nice polite people living in a great city.

Plus we went into a Basque chocolate shop, a specialty food shop, the Maison du Vin which was a sort of formal wine bar where you could have a glass of a selection of fabulous wines. What was probably and average half-bottle of red wine here turned out to be one of the best I've ever had although to be fair I rarely touch reds...but still. We saved the bottle to take home as a souvenir.

... to Bordeaux. Find out the train station is closed. Forced to take a Mercedes taxi (riding in style) to the french train station about 20 minutes away.

9:30 am- arrive in Bordeaux. Look around for our "hotel" (which was really just a hostel) for 30 minutes and wander around Bordeaux aimlessly. Find out our "hotel" was a 2 minute walk from the train station. Sweet.

11:00 am- make our way towards central Bordeaux. Walk around and do some touristy things- ...
