    Today we got up early for the slow drive to Italy. We packed up and then got in the car. On the way we stopped at a restaurant,on the side of the road. When we got there we went out for a walk. We found a nice restaurant, near the jousting. We had a really nice dinner.     ... go to a bar and have some lethal gin and tonics then go to a few different pinxos bars. The best one was el Torino, great beef cheeks and suckling pig. We drink kalimexos which is red wine mixed with coke and is really good. The next day we wander around during the day as it is slightly too cold for the beach.     ... a wine bar right across the road where you have small samplings of wine and the interior decoration was superb. We were so looking forward to finishing off the evening with a visit, but were very disappointed to find it closed when we came out at 10pm!

    Well next stop is Foix in the Pyrenees for the Tour de France finish at Ax les Thermes on Saturday 6 July. Look out for me near the finish line in my NZ shirt and silver fern flag!
