... shore. I made it through the briefing and then started feeling the effects of us crashing over the huge waves. I made my way out to the sea-sickness deck to get some fresh air and sat out there for the rest of the trip out (thankfully not getting sick like the many others who were sharing the deck with me). ... looking a bit red, and realised I'd been burnt a bit! The sun here, even with the thick solid grey cloud cover had still managed to get me...won't make that mistake again!

... down to Broad Beach to catch up with Ed.
Parking on the foreshore, we could see flashing lights, Police cars and SES etc across the road and wondered what was happening as there was police tape blocking the road. When Ed arrived he told us that someone had been stabbed in Broad Beach this morning and that must have been where it happened.
