The monument straddles the border between New South Wales and Queensland, which are in different time zones, so we amused ourselves for a few moments by hopping between 3.10 and 4.10. The final beach on our outbound journey was Duranbah Beach. Time for a hot shower, a few beers and a BBQ in the park! Nice ...

... it off. It will be cold, which is hard to imagine when it's 26 degrees here at the moment! My suitcase has been out beside the bed for the last week, as I keep adding items to it, then I don't have to remember what I've forgotten :-)

Can't wait to collect our travel documents, which we will get approx.14-21 days out from departure. Then it will REALLY feel like we're on our way.
