Got to Phuket after nearly a day of being on several modes of transport. Met the most random bunch of people on the way down. Couple of French chavs, a Romanian and an English lad who look like Timone & Pumba together and a Chilean. Lets see what the islands have to offer. Bit.

Every few metres there is a tailor, or a tuktuk driver or masseurs..plying their trade, enticing you into their realm to relieve you of your hard earned money. It is hot, and humid and smells. What is it about this place that draws us back year after year. We are not big drinkers out on the prowl, looking for opportunities and we are certainly not party animals, endlessly looking for that 'great night out'. ...
