... we made our way back to the 101 the long way via the 154. The scenery is a wide, sprawling valley with mountains featured in Bonanza and Gene Autrey westerns. Drove down from Boerne to northwest San Antonio for breakfast at Sandy and Ray's. Should have taken 15 minutes, ended up taking 45. Some of THE worst traffic I have ever seen, on I-10.
