... the point where there is 99 miles yet to drive---the road is blocked due to a fire on the pass!!! Must turn around---go back, and then decide North or South! And I am soo tired! ... passed the Welcome to Arizona sign. It's always fun to drive on I-40 through Arizona as we pass all the old Route 66 roadside attractions. Only in Arizona will you find a teepee on the side of the road. It was a hot drive and so when we got to Flagstaff the trees and cooler temperatures were welcomed! All too soon we started into the Valley and felt the heat increase by the minute.

We made it to the Dulles airport.... short flight in comparison of what we're doing next...8 hour flight coming up on our way to Zurich.
Everyone's still looking pretty perky.and feeling good.. I'm sure that'll all change when we wake up in Zurich at 9:00am.. I'll try to sneak a picture of that one, that is if I can keep my eyes open to do so.

With the help of Francisco, I finally found where my host family is located! It is right near the downtown area of Trujillo. I am excited to be living in Trujillo and working in Huanchaco so I get two different environments to experience! Public Transportation will be needed to get to work everyday and from what I can tell on the map it doesn't look too close, but they assured me that it won't take longer than 15 minutes by bus!
