      Day 2 NYC

A travel blog entry by pamanion on Dec 17, 2014

Today was in the 40s but still raw and chilly. We walked north today, up Madison and fifth avenue, stopping at a watch store and the Beretta store. We had a great lunch at Lavo on e58. Nor did we take advantage of daily wine and cheese ...

After one month and two weeks we are closing the circle on this adventure. To think that just a few weeks ago we were standing on cliffs edges in Utah, washing our hair in public bathroom sinks, surrounded by gigantic old trees and large creatures that come out in the ...

The last few days have been mostly about driving, walking and downtime up on a Vermont mountaintop. Lots of pictures with commentary in this post. I did a lot of pulling over to the side of the road and jumping out for photo opportunities.

We spent one day poking around the different neighborhoods of Portland before heading to the far north. I've spent time in Portland twice, both times in late fall, and both times ...
