We drove to Alberta on the 2nd, we showed up to the job site on the 3rd to spend 3 hours on site and realise that what we were looking for wasn't there! How lame! So we came back! We had a tourist day on the 4th stopping in Banff and having lunch and walking around. That was a pricey trip for 3 hours on site! -Dan

... but what a home this will be. It is huge! Space for their big family and each getting their own hobby room too… nice touch, I want that! So great to see it, we are gonna check out their plans tomo, pick our brains for ideas!

... br> endlich in San Jose gelandet!:D Nachdem ich mich noch fast in den
einsamen Gängen des Flughafens verlaufen hätte ( da ich vorher noch
auf Klo war und als ich rauskam, waren schon alle Passagiere weg! Oo
Da bin ich aber zügig gelaufen, meine Wertsachen festkrallend, sag
ich euch! oO), musste ich durch die Immigration und dann konnte ich
meinen durch den Regen schön dreckigen Koffer abholen ( ich dachte
schon, der würde niemals ankommen!).

It was certainly a long day of sunlight as we flew west, arriving on time and without incident to the great sight of Dan driving up in his black Protege. After catching up with him over a wonderful bottle of wine that was waiting for us at our Calgary residence (compliments of the Truchs, both the accommodation and wine – Thanks!) we struggled through some jet lag for a couple of days. Added to that, the reality of being back, homeless, jobless – what we were thinking ;-) ...

... and so embarrassed as to what happened.

I spent a weekend in BC where Pete and Kim have a trailor and where Loren and Joan have a trailor. The place is so beautiful, mountains, rivers, snow, I even saw a bear!! Well, a baby one! Loren got me drunk both nights, we helped Pete build a shed and my arms felt like I had eaten Spinach after ...
