Quality Inn University Lansing

The English Inn in Eaton Rapids (outside of Lansing Mi) is where we got married one year ago October 4, we went back to celebrate our anniversary and recall that "day of days". It was a little warmer this year but still a nice cool misty October afternoon / evening. As for plane tickets, my willingness to buy a plane ticket depends on my income for the year, the trend in prices (going up or down), my future plans (if I could travel at a better time when I have more money), and my own spontaneity (because humans are, in the end, unpredicatble). I wonder if there are economic measures for those factors? Enough of that jibber-jabber. <br><br>I am at work right now, thinking about how much this job is worth the stress that comes ...

After a hectic weekend with graduation and parties, it's finally time to head overseas. I've been planning this trip for almost a year now, hard to believe it has finaly arrived. We depart DTW at 3 PM, make a couple stops on the east coast in Baltimore and Philly before we fly into Dublin. We will be there Tuesday morning. We are staying at the Ashfield House, located in the city centre. More info to come later.

... in the plants, the architecture, the water, statues, frescoes ... Even if you haven't studied Renaissance or ancient Roman architecture or art, anyone would appreciate the sights which are breath-taking. Our photos can't possibly capture the experience of seeing it live, but we tried. <br><br>The best thing would be if this blog encourages you to plan a similar trip- I wish we had done something like this sooner! <br><br>Ciao...Pam &amp; Jim

The pilot finally arrived around 10:00 and then said the ramp was closed again, so he asked us to leave the plane to take a break, indicating that once we left the gate we probably would sit on the runway for an hour due to all the planes waiting to take off. Got back on the plane at about 11:00 and took off at 11:45 arriving at Lansing at 12:15 or about 4 hours late. I had been traveling for almost 23 hours, but was finally home. Europe 2008 complete!!

... no Tim Tams. I bought them and I had 55 cents leftover so I made a donation to the hospital. Then I went home and finished packing. Then I had a few hours until Carissa was coming over, so I watched the Tour de France. I realized I didn't recognise ANYBODY this year! Around 11:30 Carissa came and we stayed up talking until 1:30!
