Eight of us met at Macatawa Legends for Senior Day. Great deal - golf and lunch for $35. Such a beautiful day. Golf not so beautiful. Still had fun. Something about Boots? Back to Schmidts to pick up our stuff, then to Grand Rapids. Doing a Park 'n Fly while we are gone. Good place, will park car here while we are gone. Up early tomorrow. 7:30 flight to Anchorage.

A bit of a rocky start...

A travel blog entry by whitworm on May 05, 2015

Excited to get to Cape Town, although I have a lot of travel time ahead of me!

Shepherd, drinking a very nice white from Chile and nibblies until suddenly it was deceptively 6pm and very light of course and so walked ourselves and dog back to Dave and Judy's for another delicious Judy meal of chicken breasts in stock with feta and capers and sultanas with rice and great salad.

Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to. ~John Ed Pearce

I have only ever cried like that in my car. I know that sounds weird haha. My parents, grandparents, and my friend Emily sat in the airport waiting for me to leave. I kept pushing back the time I wanted to leave hoping that It would make it easier to leave. We all got pictures with each other and we all sat down. Looking around the table I ...
