We are on the back stretch and reaching for home. Two more blog entries to go. We hit the road this morning at 7:15 and 81 degrees with clear skies and headed for Baton Rouge, the capitol of Louisiana...but you knew that, of course. Who needs audio books. Hee hee! I am thinking that the fencing that I am seeing on the side of the road is probably there for a reason. I am thinking it maybe to prevent gator roadkill! The weather report has been announcing a storm heading for Myrtle Beach Florida by Saturday. ...

... 60 so we didn't have much trouble. Man, there's a lot of tailgaters on the road...not sure where they think they can go with a dozen cars in front of them, all going 75 mph.

Lots of Cardinals calling around the park here...wonderful sound. We've stayed here before...nice beautiful park. ...
