Only 2 days until we leave for Hawaii and we are really getting excited! I am also excited about being able to write about our adventures and have you all share the trip with us
We will be leaving Phoenix on Monday morning October the 19th and will be in Honolulu by 1:00 ...
... if the hand paint will run or mess up. I can even put it outside for fear that my investment will be ruined. I have been home for two weeks and I have not yet sent my Godmother hers. I mean, that is just my typical thing. I still have some pot holders that I bought her when I was in St. Lucia 2 years ago . (Pot holders…yeah I know)

Again…the butterflies got me.

... at the alarm sure was comforting though.
Now I'm off to Houston before my long flight to Tokyo. I can't believe I'm actually going to backpack SE Asia. Doesn't really seem real yet, nor has it fully hit me that I will be far outside my comfort zone. But thats what traveling is all about right? Learning something new about a new culture and about ourselves?
Flew into Phoenix to be met by kev`s aunt and uncle and from day one we were spoiedl rotten! what great Hosts they were, we ventured to see a real cowboy mining town and stopped kev from buying a pint sized hat, everywhere very dry and dusty but on the upside loads of cacti to spread the sap on our mozzie bites!!! had a real chille3d couple of ...

Around 5:00, we were picked us by a taxi and taken to the airport. The flight arrived in San Francisco without incident. For the second time in our trip, our duffle bags were among the first bags to be delivered by the baggage carousel. We are using up ...
Phoenix, Arizona, United States charliet... we asked him how the food there was - he then went on to say how he had great memories there with girls servicing his uh pipes. OK, it was kind of fun hanging out with poser-boy. We made it just in time to the film - District 9 - incredible. It was nothing like we were expecting, which for me is great - anyone who knows me a little, know that I hate going into a film knowing too much about it. Go and see this film, it's a frantic, moving, gritty and gripping film.
Phoenix, Arizona, United States cozbie... bobbed their heads a few times and she dropped into a different hole, and he went into yet another one. Then he popped out, but she didn't. He went over to the hole she'd gone down and peered in looking for her. Then he started walking around, crying out for her. She never did show up. Eventually he flew away. On Monday, when Julie arrived in her bright red, super-cheap, Chevy rental car, I was ready to fly away from Carefree. Oh, I never did get sick, by the way.

Time flew as we heard stories of John's grandparents (Aunt Rose's parents) and his father. Thanks Aunt Rose & Uncle Frank! All too quickly our visit came to an end and we left for the Islip McArthur Airport. Our return flight took us to Philadelphia then a connecting flight back to Phoenix. Back in Phoenix we located all of ...
Glendale, Arizona, United States j_and_m... to admit that I'm not doing all I could in the face of prosperity. Much of that is my own sin. But I believe that part of that is the desire that God has placed in me to be out and serving in a way that isn't so "easy." Couldn't I be doing that here in Gilbert? Yes, of course. And I probably should be doing much more than I am. But I truly believe that this is a desire that God has placed in my heart. As I said earlier, I didn't pick Taiwan because it ...
Gilbert, Arizona, United States splashofjoy... hosted for lunch in Yorktown by members of Grace Episcopal Church. They offered us a generous lunch. Here was the customary dipping of the rear bicycle wheel in the Yorktown River as it empties into the Chesapeake Bay. Temperature in the 60's; cloudy; light rain.
