Lots of planes and helicopters last night. Bob wants to have a surface to air missile to shoot them down.
We called our friends Fran and Roy Vardy who live nearby in Gilbert and invited them over for dinner tonight. Other than that we just enjoyed the beautiful Arizona weather and did some sight-seeing at the local Walmart.

The Diverse Scenery:
We experienced wide open spaces during game viewing outings, fabulous water ways - the Nile and the Kazinga Channel, and cloud forests. Uganda also has some beautiful lakes, including the northern shores of Lake Victoria as well as several areas with crater lakes.
... from the GPS, we decided to buy a paper map. Easier said than done! After a search in several servos, we located a usable road map. We hit the highway, heading out through the massive urban sprawl of LA. Driving through the desert with the sun on me brought on a catnap, which was very pleasant. ... It's only now, as I sit in my parent's house in my old room that I am able to take a breath and reflect on the last few weeks of my glorious adventure.
I couldn't have asked for a more fulfilling journey. There were plenty of ups and downs, and unexpected twists and turns, but this pause in life has served me well in a variety of ways.
