          ... it was quite pleasant outside. I think when we reached Montgomery, it had gotten back into the high 80's but the weather forecast calls for low 60’s tonight. I suggested to Wendell he might want to turn on the heat…just in case, or put on a pair of socks.

On the way back to the hotel, we popped in to Target to buy a few things, amongst them a six pack of beer, When we got to the checkout a very nice young lady asked to see our ID for the beer. She saw by our eyes we were wondering how we could ever be mistaken for being under 21 and explained she had to scan the ID for the till to work. Unfortunately, we had none and the beer was taken from us! A lesson ...

          ... made it worse, the receptionist told us our room wasn't ready (although we were 30 minutes late) but would find us another. The one she gave us was lovely, it looked out on a huge lake and everything was good.
