Sunshine in Steamboat Springs!
It is a beautiful morning in Steamboat, so different from the afternoon before. After a delicious breakfast at my hotel, I hit the road for home - 4 hours away.

with horses; our photography speaks for itself about how amazing that was. I
told Kelsey, “This is one of the most amazing experiences of my life”. That
evening included a camp fire, bottle of red zinfandel, and spaghetti dinner.
Didn’t feel much like roughing it in the Rocky’s, even though we were in the
middle of a Canyon, on a white water river, miles away from civilization.
That madness of Black Friday over for another year [ unless you're one of those shops whose Black Friday sale extends into Saturday, yet still opened at midnight Friday so the maximum number of people can be injured ] we scarpered sharpish out of Wyoming and right smack North in Colorado!
Or should I say... COLDorado?

We ate QDOBA breakfast burritos and coffee with Christy and Gonzo (thank you Gonzo) and then just hung out talking for a couple more hours until it was time to head to Wild Water Rafting. We arrived and the guides were trying to figure out who was in whose group, until someone said, "Oh we'll figure it out on the way." Eric, a twenty-something mountaineer guide with a goofy sense ...
... really good and we were able to write up some free postcards that felt like coasters.
Fort Collins - We spent the last 3 days of our trip in Fort Collins. We didn't do much touring around as we were busy doing wedding stuff. But I really enjoyed the town. I would love to spend some more time in this town. We did go to several bars and restaurants around town throughout the time we were there. A very cute college town!
