Så var det tid til at hitte the road igen på vores færden mod LA. Vi kørte videre sydpå via Highway 1. Denne gang var vejen endnu mere snørklet. Den bugtede sig langs med kysten. Og med taget nede kunne man lugte eukalyptus træerne og hører bølgerne slå ind mod kysten. Jo her er skam flot for både syn, hørelse og duft. Vi faldt over mere wildlife …

... up and down roads, but it was definitely worth it. We were able to get a spot right on the beach with us actually parking on the beach. Our picnic table and fire ring were on the beach too and we could walk right down to the ocean. The only downside was that we had absolutely no service, so I won't be able to call my mom until tomorrow.

... wanted to head to a bar. Walking up the street, we went inside Solvang Brewery. Jane had an Ahi Tuna Burger, and I had a blue cheese bacon burger. Wined out, we each had a beer with our burgers, and topped it off with a mud pie for dessert. We would've walked off our meals longer but it was just too cold outside. We were back in our hotel sipping hot tea in our pajamas in minutes :) After taking photos by the fireplace, we were in bed and sleeping by 10:30.
