... to pray we'd make it through the rest of Bonna's planned agenda or if it was to look at the architecture and have a quiet moment of reflection.

Then it was back on the road to the next couple of wineries. Next stop was a short visit when we noticed that the least expensive (note I did NOT say cheapest) wine was around $100 a bottle. On to the next stop which was a really beautiful and large facility with a friendly ...

... to dinner. We went to AJ Spurs, just a few blocks from the Motel. A fun steak house. There was a waiting list when I dropped Dave off at the door, by the time I parked the car and got inside Dave was already being assigned a table, not sure what he did to pass the line, but I liked it! When our waitress came to our table she had a cast iron pot of vegetable soup with brown beans and salsa on the side for you to add as you wish. Got our drink orders ...

... brake. We drove through Los Angeles and had favorable conditions on the freeway. The GPS helped immensely. After climbing a few hills, we did find Vandenberg AFB and managed to score a pull through site. Susan figured out the oven in the RV and we had a nice meal, followed by showers in the camp lodge. Tomorrow we are going to visit Solvang and continue towards San ...

We finally came to our senses & decided to break for the coast for some heat relief & some delicious pea soup. Pea Soup Anderson's is a favorite of ours & we go there as much as we can, which is not enough. Andrew bought me my own insulated water bottle & all was right with the world.

The weather was beautiful & everything we hoped for. Nice, cool, sunny, slightly breezy. Awesome!

      Then, ...
