    ... into our hotel, the Sandcastle Inn. This hotel is right on the beach and our room overlooks the beach. We went for a walk on the pier, and watched the sun set over the ocean. Lucy checked out the water, which was very cold; apparently an assortment of surfers were not deterred.

    ... up and down roads, but it was definitely worth it. We were able to get a spot right on the beach with us actually parking on the beach. Our picnic table and fire ring were on the beach too and we could walk right down to the ocean. The only downside was that we had absolutely no service, so I won't be able to call my mom until tomorrow.
