Not a whole lot to share for today. We both went to work for most of the day and got on the road about 5 PM for a 4 hour drive to Thomasville, GA, where we spent the night with some friends. We had not seen the NeSmith's in a couple years so it was great to spend some time with them even though it was short. It's incredible how fast kids can start playing with other kids they've never met and act like they've known each other for years in no time at all.

... the HOV there was no drama, and I was out of Atlanta in 45 minutes. Key West is about 1500 km south of Atlanta so the original plan was to do it in 2 days, however leaving a little early allowed me to put in about 330 kms and reduce my daily mileage requirements. Tomorrow I will put in a full day and try to get south of Tampa, leaving an easy day for arrival into Key West on Saturday.
... the airports I visited were more like high end malls with some aircraft gates! Visited the New Zealand Air club, which was unreal. People were literally just taking bottles of wine to their tables to drink. And the food - it was nicer than any buffet. Didn't sleep quite as well going back. ... felt a calling to the Motherland knew we needed a trip there. Pulling into their drive the whole 'free range pig' concept became abundantly clear. We soon discovered that the never go over 3 pigs per acre and the pigs live in the woods roaming free. They almost seemed like pets to the owner but we were not so attached that we refused a bacon sandwich to wake us up.
