Sharan and I started our journey to South Dakota early - we had about a 10-hour drive ahead of us, and I couldn't wait to get started. We had already packed the Honda Pilot with our camping gear and dry goods - all that was left to add was the cooler and we were ready to go!

The drive from Illinois to South Dakota was uneventful. The weather shifted between sunny and cloudy, and we had occasional rain, but nothing ...

        Food safety and beyond...

... a stay in Munich for Oktoberfest.

My mind is just reeling with the upcoming adventure and the subsequent visit to Florida. And I must say I am learning interesting and pertinent things at this food safety symposium!

I want to write and write. I haven't quite settled into that groove yet.

Plus, Dan got a new job. What a crazy world!
