... we headed down the 101 for our last view of the coastline on our way to Newport, Oregon. We stopped a few times on the way and walked down to the beach - the waves were pretty big but unfortunately it was pretty cold so there was no one actually in the water. ... Carl dog (Rottweiler) who could sit still and just enjoy life parked in the passenger seat. I approached the vehicle to get a closer look and realized the dog was not alive. I did have a "Eww" moment thinking it might be a taxidermy project, but with a second look determined it was plaster-of-Paris.
