chat with him, and an even harder time trying to decipher his poker face and
smooth southern accent. As seems to be the way with the friends we make, he and
his girlfriend are moving on tomorrow, in search of more permanent
accommodation and hopefully work for him. I really wanted to ask him how long
he’d been growing his hair, but I never found the right time. Some things have
to remain a mystery ...
Today we visited wineries in the Willamette Valley area. Cloudy skies looked ominous as we headed for a morning bright spot before our drive, and Voodoo Donuts was a cheery sort of place! Donuts with a plethora of tasty toppings tested our willpower...and willpower lost!
