    ... squim", it's a pretty community of about 6600 people. Sequim’s also known as the sunbelt of western Washington because it’s in the rain shadow of the Olympic mountains.     ... way along the canyon wall. Great view of the water and the canyon walls. The stream here is also glacially fed but instead of being the usual milky blue it was clear as a clear thing can be.

    Many repetitions of "it's so clear!" and "so pretty lah!". Amazing bright yellow lichen covering the tree trunks. We only had time to walk to the lower falls (gives us yet another reason to return to Canada) though even these were spectacular and again, a huge volume ...
