... to pinch myself!! The History of this State is something that is mind boggling: I feel soo blessed to have been able to stand in these places and be a part of understanding and learning about the History of this great country.

Being at the Arlington National Cemetery and Watching a Military funeral with all the pomp and ceremony just left me soo moved. The tomb of the unknown soldier.. WOW!!

... of the little girls who play Sarah. They have had to cast three more little girls to alternate the role throughout the run. (Child Labor Laws....)

Rehearsals are going well and we open on Friday! YAY!!! The show will continue throughout the holidays and will close Dec. 31st.

Doing a Christmas show like this always makes me in a sentimental mood. Keep in touch - all of you!

... effects of real snow, rain, spider webs, things that popped out under your legs and streamers that flew out at the end ! It was Disney's version of Fantasia done in chocolate ! They had the chocolate smell in there as well ! The thing that really struck all of us though was how Mr. Hershey himself was raised a Mennonite, tried several times in different cities to start candy factories and finally in his home town area succeeded and ...

... anyway.  Unfortunately, it wasn't still in the factory, but had been made into an 'It's a Small World' type amusement ride with singing cows, instead of singing dolls.  After the 'tour' we wandered through all the shops looking at all the ridiculous and overpriced Hershey merchandise, including Hershey bar and kiss pillows, giant bottles of Hershey syrup, and customized Hershey bars and wrappers.  We started our drive to Harper's Ferry, West Virginia, so Sigrid could ...

We then made our way through the rest of the Children's Garden: The pretzel maze ( not much of a maze per se, but enough to satisfy Max who had been talking about going inside a maze since we have started the trip... We were on our way to meet Reena's old school friend from back in Singapore. We found ourself driving straight threw Pennsylvania. This is where Ram when to high school.

We made some quick calls and Ram found a high school friend that he hasn't seen or even talked to in 8 years! We stoped only for a couple hours and we had to be on our way....

... 1800 living in 178 'homes', across a campus which reaches across all areas of the town and the mini-buses which ferry them all around are absolutely everywhere. Not only that but any of the children who want to go onto higher education are provided for as they would be by well-off parents, given help with lodging, allowances etc and given $77,000 towards their fees (this is a gift, not a loan - they never have to pay ...

... etc.  We all filled up on breakfast goodness to make sure we had the energy to make our way around Hershey Park!  When we were done eating we drove back to the hotel to walk Oreo before we left.
