If you haven’t lived in a truck for a week with a mildly claustrophobic sleeping space, then you may not understand what it means to have the luxury of the space in even a budget motel room.       Motorcycle: 143 miles; a service day at Indian of Fresno. 12,500 miles service done at 13,220 miles.. It's a chilly start but it's high 90's before the day is done. A magnificent day of travel on rte 152 west and 99 south out of Gilroy to Fresno. Now this is motorcycle country....rolling hills, grassy fields and gorgeous roads.       ... of his firefighters to give us a full tour UP CLOSE of the FireTac chopper. He called a young, very fit, firefighter out of the 'barn', introduced us and we headed out to the bird. The young firefighter gave us a complete rundown of the chopper, the fire fighting gear inside, how the unit was set up and all-in-all spent about 45 minutes enthusiastically talking about their job and the importance of the Heli-Tac units for fighting fires.
