After a few too many references to tea parties and militias, it was time to get out of Williamsburg. So we headed south to Chapel Hill, where we landed at the home of our dear friends, Jim and Heather (and their lovely daughters, Sydney and Leah). Her husband joined us and told me he was mad at me because I was late -- he had wanted to plot mischief against Cherie. The dog, Roxie, loved me but also loved to lick me. Hmmm I thought I left the licking dog behind. Her favorite was my right arm which had been wrapped so it was probably sweaty. The cat also made friends which is rare for her. Once on the coach we watched the Rock, did some reading, listened to my iPod and relaxed. It was a long drive with only one stop for toilets. But we arrived in Raleigh and went to the hotel
(best western) Once we had our rooms, it was unpack, i uploaded a few pictures to Facebook, used the WiFi, then it was time to head to dinner. We got back ...
