    This morning getting up slightly later than the last 2 days, more relax.. We took time to have breakfast in our camper. 8:45 we started hitting the road again... The plan is to reach Santa Fe, New Mexico. Garmin shows it's 12,5 hours drive. I am tad pessimist that we will reach our goal for today.     ... the place was pretty crowded. They offered a lunch buffet of salad bar, hamburger steak wrapped in bacon, chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, carrots, green beans, dinner rolls and dessert. Glen ordered a BLT. Once I saw the chicken fried chicken ... I had no choice! LOL

    Last stop was Cadillac Ranch which is a public art sculpture consisting of 10 1970's era Cadillacs stuck into the ground nose first and at a severe angle. Sounds weird. Yep, it is....
    Over the years its turned into a spray paint mecca and folks are invited to apply their artistic talent to the overall sculpture (:

    ... in a town called brown wood where we bought new clothes at Walmart. Very tempted to buy an all American wardrobe of ****** patriotic flag tops but restrained and instead bought a pug mug shot top. Had ****** food and huge huge $2.50 milkshakes from sonic diner, a drive in diner, so American. One shake between us would be too much. Carried on driving into the night to austin eventually arriving at our new motel- the country inn where apparently gangsters live so had to keep our heads ...
