      ... to Texas sign for a photo op. We all tried jumping in front on it but it didn't go to plan. Awesome to think we have covered another state in eleven days.       ... but one of the cars impossible. There were a few groups of people there - all making their mark on the one accessible car. I picked up a can of paint lying on the ground and found it was empty - but then a guy handed me a can that he was finished with that was nearly full. So we both made our mark on the car - I sprayed the word G'Day, and Joe artistically painted a picture of Australia. We handed the paint can on to the next people who were walking in. ...

      ... We saw the medical evac helicopter landing. As of yet, we have not information about the condition of the driver. We were fortunate and blessed to have been late enough to be diverted to the frontage roads, but at least one of our fellow Newmar RVers had to make a hard stop, causing a huge mess in their RV. Thankfully they and their dogs are safe.

      We crossed the border into Texas and the do everything BIG here. We went to a restaurant that offers you a free steak if you can eat the meal in an hour. Did I mention that the steak is 2kg's, served with 1 roll, baked potato, salad and shrimp. Two Aussies and a Brit attempted it. They did not get very far so each of them had to pay the $72 for it. To date over 50 thousand people have attempted it but only 8 thousand or so ...
