... I stayed to explore Beale street. Kim, Katie, PJ and I walked around for a bit. We saw this huge man in overalls playing the harmonica. He was a massive truck of a man, and he was just grooving all over the place. We met up with Charlie, our host, at 10:30pm to shuttle us back to the house. Gina, the B&B alum whose parent's house we're staying with, shuttled some folks back too. I was about to head to sleep until ...

... cute little stadium so you were right near the action. Then bed to prepare for the big next day and of course, my birthday! We went straight to Graceland in the morning and it was quite different to what I expected. The mansion was on one side of the road and then there was museums and sooooo many gift shops on the other side. Elvis stuff everywhere! Elvis '****' everywhere as well! This took us a bit longer to get through than we expected - was around 1pm so maybe 4 ...

Memphis - Home of the Blues

I was pre warned about going to Memphis about two things. Firstly, by the hostel on how unreliable the bus system is and secondly, by pretty much everyone I met, that I would get shot by going there. Well having only one hour before I leave Memphis only one of those statements are true (thankfully only the first one!). What I discovered myself was don't rely on google maps that incorporate public transport to give you the most efficient way of getting you from point a to b. By ...
