... nice cascades just before
reaching the falls. Having seen a few
pictures of this waterfall, I was not expecting to be too impressed. Boy, was I wrong. Perhaps it was the very wet summer and recent
rains or maybe pictures just don’t do it justice. Either way, this was an amazing
waterfall. The waterfall plunges over a
cliff with a freefall of near 100 feet.

Not much more needs to be said.
Regardless of how it ended, it was a great trip while it lasted! I crossed the Atlantic for the first time; rented a tux for what had better be the last time; saw good friends; met some neat people; drank some great wine; ate some wonderful meals (and some not so wonderful); rode a lot of neat trains; and saw some fantastic scenery.
Along the way, I collected Monaco, Liechtenstein, ...
... to some local band perform during the arts show. I can honestly say that there is something really quaint about this town.
As well as being a normal town little boutiques as well as chain shops there was a waterfall in the middle of the town which I have never seen before which turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
... plane between rows 12 and 32. Those of you who travel often will know what I speak of when i say the back row of the plane affords some unique experiences. Being in the back I was also the last to arrive but safe and sound nonetheless. Customs became our next challenge. ... And I just bought new Moleskine sketchbooks for my trip, about which I am super stoked. Of all things to be excited about, right, the prospect of filling up sketchbooks... but nobody should be surprised. It's my goal to come back from Europe with Corbusier-style sketchbooks... haha. Well anyways I am off to Charleston with the nephews for the weekend, to surprise some of my siblings and say hello/goodbye before I take off. More (exciting) updates to come in 12 ...
