... Redwood tree! I will also say that the forests themselves were very cold and damp feeling. When it was about 70 degrees out in the city, it was almost 20 degrees cooler under the shade of the giant Redwoods. Had our standard camping breakfast of banana pancakes with IHOP maple syrup. With a side of avocado on pre-toasted bread. I originally laughed at how lazy you must be to buy pre-toasted bread......but it's the best thing when you are camping! You can find it at good old trusty Walmart.
