This was our big day for sight-seeing and we started in style with a drive up to West Cliff Drive and the many surfers that surf the famous break there. I was up at 6.30am and stuffing raisin bran flakes and clif bars in to try and build some energy. ... Yes, it had to be tried out and it was in a perfect position to just wake up and head straight to Monterey the next morning. Most Walmarts and some Safeways are 24 hours and allow RV customers to spend the night in the parking lot free of charge!
