... Yes, it had to be tried out and it was in a perfect position to just wake up and head straight to Monterey the next morning. Most Walmarts and some Safeways are 24 hours and allow RV customers to spend the night in the parking lot free of charge! We didn't go inside as it was late by the time we arrived but we did have a walk right along ...

We waited until the next day to start telling everyone. Even after the news being out it still didn't feel real but everyone was ...

... so we went instead to the Bubba seafood one that was there. The wait staff were so friendly and the food was divine. We sat outside and shared an entree and main. We had crab stuffed mushrooms and crab stuffed prawns in a creamy lemon sauce with rice. Mmmm
After lunch Vince drove us around Monteray for awhile and made a few more stops. The Sea Otters all live around that area and one time Pete spotted one near the shore having a play and ...

... style. Both the qualifying were watched from the inside of the famous Corkscrew corner. It's quite a climb to get there so we jumped on one of the many buggies that are driven by vets, (old folk), and will take you anywhere for a small donation to their charity. A rock band, the "Mucky Ducks" and an ale bar kept the entertainment flowing during the intervals. The IPA was extraordinary good! I noted how ...
