The last of our day tours today, to Seaworld San Diego. After the usual routine of switching buses etc, we found ourselves on a bus with a driver named Chris, a born and bred local who was pretty funny, despite dragging out some of the same jokes that other drivers have used, but also very informative, and actually managed to talk all the way to San Diego – about and hour and a half's drive away!

... both fell off the rope at the same spot. Both were ok though. Daddy chickened out and only did the easy courses. He said he is more useful with his feet on the ground! After the park we headed to the Padres game at PETCO Park. We met Jim and Dana, their adorable daughter Alice and nephew Wes. ... on our way to explore the many sights and sounds of the zoo. This is a beautiful place to visit. The grounds are so well maintained and there are so many things to see. The highlight has to be the panda exhibit. The crowds were quite heavy there, but the lines moved quite quickly. There are over 4,000 different animals in the zoo. I think we saw most of them.
